Hammersmith and Fulham Family Information Service Directory
Hammersmith & Fulham council want to make sure that local children, young people, parents/carers and professionals have better access to information on services and activities within the borough. They have developed an online Family Information Service Directory, which includes a dedicated zone for young people in the borough called Youth Life. fisd.lbhf.gov.uk/kbroker/lbhf/fisd/start.jsp
Looking at council services, and those in the private, voluntary and independent sector that provide services to families, the directory holds information for 0-19 year olds. This is a comprehensive online search facility that contains contact details and information on what local and national services can offer.
Not only is the directory a great way for residents to find out about what is happening in the borough, but it also benefits local services and groups who can advertise their services for free.
If you provide a local service to children, young people or families, then the Family Information Service wants to hear from you. They are looking for information on leisure activities, health and well being, education, parenting support, family learning, volunteering opportunities, out of school and holiday clubs etc.
