‘The Power of Love’ KS3/4 Educational Theatre
Developed in partnership with the Wiltshire Domestic Violence Forum, ‘The Power of Love’ is a theatre play and accompanying workshops by Solomon Theatre that were written to tackle the KS3/4 PSHE curriculum topic of ‘Developing good relationships’.
Through professional drama and forum theatre techniques, students explore the issues of exploitation, the destructive nature of violence and intimidation and the roles of respect, trust and good will in healthy relationships (both at home and at school).
PHSE teachers have commented on the realism achieved by the actors and the impact of the story on their students, providing them with an effective reference point for future lessons.
